The Zookoda Shutdown

January 23rd, 2009 by Admin

Here’s the blog for a new zookoda type website. If you found this coming from the zookoda site and would like to help by requesting features for a new site like that then signup and comment them here. I am a web designer/coder that recently signed up for this service only to find out it was going down. If anyone thinks it would be a good idea for me to tackle creating a new site for them like zookoda then let me know. If there’s enough people who would like to see me create it then I will get started on it ASAP.

Update

Ok so Zookoda has not approved my sender details and probably won’t since they are shutting down so if you guys would be so kind as to give me a few links for me to sign up to your email list so I can get a picture of the email layout when they are sent that would help a lot.

Also if anyone has feature requests or name suggestions please feel free to leave them here as well.

Here’s what I’m thinking so far.

They way I’m thinking I would need to structure this would be a three tier account structure.

Tier one would be free users. The way this would work would be basic with some other ads and basic templates and a powered by logo on emails sent out.

Tier two I’m thinking $14.95 a month and would give customizable templates and take away the ads in the emails.

Tier three would be $24.95 a month and would do tier two’s functions and also instead of the powered by logo for this new site it would have a customizable logo that would show your sites information.

Also in tier two and three we could even have customized opt in and out web pages that take away ads and shows your info instead of the normal powered by logos.

Let me know if this sounds good. I also have thought of a name for this site. If their are any other suggestions before I purchase the domain name for this please comment them. Also make sure to click the share this link to get this out everywhere to let people know about Zookoda’s shut down.

    4)экскурсии на меганом
4)сколько в среднем стоит вход на пляж и всякие там лежаки-зонтики?

The structure would be about the same. It would allow you to set a broadcast and yes blog updates. I was not thinking about limiting the free account like some sites do but in the templates would have advertisements like adsense or something similar to help with the cost of the free accounts. The pay accounts would allow users to take away those and make it like it was there own system. At least that’s the goal.

What would the “free” account include? Would you have a limit to the amount of emails sent? And will your design keep the same structure of sending newsletters via blog updates? (Which was the entire reason of me signing up for Zookoda)

I’m actually up late looking into a few tools to include like those. My donation button is on the right sidebar.

if so advice on any assistance we can accord you.

Anothing Zookoda fan signing in. For now I’ve moved to mailchimp. From what I’ve seen it’s a far cry to what Zookoda used to provide. So yes if plunlimited can match or even supersede zookoda count men in. Even if it’s a pay service.

Ok, well yes I would want a duplication if you can do it. I think most users just have not seen the notice on their site (Zookoda) or they would have been more comments and more visits here.

    yes please

The thing about coders is we generally do not try to code a do it all site. We create sites that have a specific function and then it’s up to others (ie customers) to use tools like zookoda to get there url out to others.

Your link on Zookoda is incorrect. You left out one “w” in www, so you may want to change it. If you are able to create a duplication, I would be interested, but if you are a coder, then why would you need Zookoda in the first place?
